With egg

A hearty, tasty stuffing of potatoes with eggs is easy to prepare.

Boil two hard-boiled eggs, peel, cut into cubes. Add 2 tbsp of butter, salt and pepper to 0.5 kg of mashed potatoes. Add boiled eggs, mix well.

Filling is suitable for fried and baked patties.

With cracklings

The highlight of this stuffing is the smoky flavor given by the crispy fried bits of lard.

Ingredients:

  • 100 g salted or fresh bacon;
  • 500 g of mashed potatoes;
  • 1 tbsp. butter;
  • Two eggs;
  • pepper, salt.

How to cook:

  1. Cut the lard into small pieces, send it to a pan with a spoon of vegetable oil. Fry on low heat until the cubes of bacon no longer shrink in size. To make the lard crispy, briefly increase the heat on the stove.
  2. Into the mashed potatoes beat two raw eggs.
  3. Fetch the cooked cracklings with a slotted spoon, add to the potatoes, and stir.

To make the patties soft and the filling juicy, put some of the mashed fat in addition to the cracklings.

With Sausage

For a yummy, flavorful filling you'll need:

  • 400 g of mashed potatoes, seasoned with butter;
  • One onion;
  • 200 g of any cooked sausage;
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil.

Cut the sausage, onion into cubes. Fry in a pan, combine with mashed potatoes.
